rihui to assess the operational characteristics
The aim of this paper is to assess the operational
characteristics,properties and microstructure of the root
pass and joint welded with various weld passes,employing
the MIG-MAG process and using a ceramic backing
produced in the laboratory.This comprises cordierite
refractory material and a sodium silicate agglomerate,
synthesized at 11008C.Details of the manufacturing
characteristics of the ceramic backing can be obtained in
papers already published
