Welding symbols are variable height symbols. To modify the symbol height, use the Height option in the Mod Symbol menu.

The text height in symbols is related to the height of the symbol size. To match the text height appearing in the symbol to the text
height in the drawing, scale the instance accordingly (either while adding an instance to the drawing, or later by changing the symbol
height).
