This glossary explains the different menu selections available in the Welding Symbol Library and identifies information you are
prompted to enter. For a comprehensive explanation of the types of welds and restrictions, consult ANSI/AWS A.2.4-86, Standard
Symbols for Welding, Brazing, and Non-destructive Examination, and applicable welding symbols standards. In the second table, all
items identified with an asterisk require you to enter a numeric or text value after you select all characteristics of the welding symbol.
In the DESCRIPTION column, menu items are shown in bold, while text entries are shown in plain text.
