Eighteen micro-hardness measurements 

Eighteen micro-hardness measurements were performed,six measure- ments for the base metal,six measurements for the TAZ

and six measurements for the welding metal as shown in Figure 2.All measurements were carried out under a

horizontal line along the length of the root pass,at a distance of 1.5 mm from the lower part of the plate.
